Our Mission
Our mission is to promote expansive land stewardship that incorporates ecological health, regenerative agriculture, long-term thinking, and cultural preservation. We do this by proving out best practices at our 2,100-acre demonstration site, training professionals in emerging techniques, and inspiring landowners and managers to make positive changes on the lands that they steward.
Board/Leadership

Charles Bich
Charles Bich has always been inspired by the highlands and agricultural landscapes of the northeastern U.S. and eastern Canada. When he was 13 years old, his father purchased the property that is now the Land Stewards demonstration site in Dutchess County, N.Y., and Charles spent many happy years exploring the rocky woods, wetlands, and former fields and orchards as a boy. As an adult, his interests turned to making this landscape all that it could be&emdash;for nature and human beings alike&emdash;and inspiring and equipping others to do the same, as stewards of their lands.
